The Wide World of Water

Our School produced a Kids Go Global production in November 2012 called ‘The Wide World of Water’ where we explored global issues around water and water shortages.

The Wide World of Water

Our week of residency with Trickster has been magical!  The opportunity to explore global issues through theatre has provided us with a chance to gain insight into the issues surrounding water conservation and has given us ideas for new ways to make a difference!

  • Full Project Summary

    We are exploring ideas like:

    The water cycle
    Water issues in other countries
    Water Shortage in the Future
How a shortage of clean water affects the quality of life
Various bodies of water in the world

  • Project Outcome

Have an amazing show and teach others what we have learned!

  • How to create projects

Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.

New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.

  • What is Trickster Theatre

Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!

Kids Go Global - Explore, Act, Inspire.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
