We will team up with The Hunger Project, whose mission is to to “end hunger and poverty by pioneering sustainable, grassroots, women-centered strategies and advocating for their widespread adoption in countries throughout the world”.

Full Project Summary
By learning about The Hunger Project and poverty in the developing and developed world, we will develop more empathy for our fellow human beings. Gender equality, empowerment, sustainability, and other important life lessons will help our school appreciate the need to look beyond our borders and connect to many diverse communities across the globe.

Project Outcome
We will raise funds to combat poverty and hunger and support community development initiatives, focusing on the people who are the most marginalize. Our work will include a special focus on improving childhood and maternal malnutrition and igniting local entrepreneurship.

How to create projects
Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.
New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.

What is Trickster Theatre
Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!
