Cheque Presentation at our Holiday Assembly

Posted by McKenzie Towne on Dec 18, 2014

At our assembly yesterday, we presented Ashley Kirk from Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta with a cheque for $5935.85. That's amazing!

Fantastic work by all of our students, staff and parents who have made our fundraiser such an incredible success so far. Thank you. Congratulations McKenzie Towne School students for being great citizens and contributing to your community.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
