School Community Rallies Together

Bearspaw School in Calgary recently presented Change for Children with a BIG (both physically and in value!) cheque.
The donation represents a year of fundraising for the school whose students, staff, and parents committed last February to rallying together to fund the drilling of a well in drought-stricken northern Nicaragua as part of the Nicaragua Water Project.
Fittingly, the cheque was presented at the school’s annual Kindness Assembly (coinciding with anti-bullying Pink Shirt Day). The kindness shown by this school community will in turn result in access to clean water for the communtiy of Posoltegia, Nicaragua where 450 people currently go without.
