Global Learning Through the Arts
Noble Central School is a K-12 school serving approximately 100 students located in the village of Nobleford, AB. The village is known for being the home of the “Noble Blade”, a plow that is able to cut weeds without disturbing the topsoil.
Our students, teachers, and staff are very excited to work with Trickster Theatre in the 2017-18 school year to put on our show on Global Learning Through the Arts.
We greatly appreciate your help and look forward to sharing our finished work with you!

Full Project Summary
Noble Central’s theme of “Global Action Through The Arts” is designed to have our students learn about local and global issues through the creation of an original show. We will use the Kids Go Global platform to partner our school with a Non-Government Organization that the students will chose in September along with Trickster Theatre to explore the issues and make a difference in our school, our community and across the world.
Each class will create a performance that will focus on an aspect of our issue, that people around the world face on a daily basis. Issues may be such things as access to water, human rights, disaster relief, food shortages, and health care.

Project Outcome
This residency will kickstart the drama program in our school. After our renovation, we will use the Trickster Theatre residency to implement theatre techniques in our existing programs. We will also work to develop a drama program that specifically focuses on movement, speech and storywriting.

How to create projects
Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.
New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.
