  • Full Project Summary

Kayenje Primary school seeks to construct a girls latrine at a cost of 4000 dollars to solve the problem of sanitation in the school. The latrine which the Girls were using collapsed as seen in the attached photographs. There is no privacy among the Girls and boys, both use a 4 stances latrine together with their teachers. Worst of all, when girls are in their periods, they fear school as they lack privacy which leads them to miss school. We seek for your support to help these girls.

  • Information for Educators

The school will use a competent firm to construct the latrine and monitoring will be done by the school management committee together with the headteacher and supervised by the district engineer as the technician person. A plan for the construction will be made and approved by the District Engineer.
