Carnival for the Cause

Our grade 6 students have been working hard on designing and building innovative activities and games that explore a whole range of global issues including World Hunger, Clean Water, Cancer Research among many more.
Come down for an afternoon of fun while learning at our Carnival for Change.
Check out each of our Grade 6 Group’s project pages where you can learn more about their individual causes and how you can help!

  • Full Project Summary

Each grade 6 group has been researching and learning about different social causes and how they can help support initiatives. The students have been developing creative activities and games to help educate fellow students, staff and parents about these important issues.
Come learn and explore with us!

  • Project Outcome

We will have lots of fun while learning abut important issues and sharing ideas with eachother.

  • How to create projects

Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.

New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.

  • What is Trickster Theatre

Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!

Kids Go Global - Explore, Act, Inspire.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
