Animal Rescue
We are teaming up with AARCS to raise awareness of the plight of animals in Alberta.

Full Project Summary
Animals have rights too!
We are going to learn about the negative effects of abandoned animals and the need to have animal rescue services in our province. Every year, thousands of cats and dogs are homeless, abandoned, abused or living in horrendous conditions. Although we may not see them on the streets of our cities and towns, it is estimated that well over 25,000 small animals are rescued or surrendered in Alberta alone.

Project Outcome
Whether it is learning about animal rescue, hosting adopt-a-thons to showcase adoptable animals, or fundraising for better services, we will work to ensure every animal has adequate food, shelter, kindness and companionship.

How to create projects
Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.
New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.
