We are named after Dr. Roberta Bondar, renowned Canadian astronaut, author, photographer, environmentalist, scientist, artist, physician, and creative thinker. We fully recognize her many talents and are building our school community to reflect her values. We have been able to connect our past through our Indigenous Peoples’ use of the land on which we are located, our present through the communication with the architect and builder of our school, and our future through our vision: Inquire, Innovate, Inspire…Imagine…also recognized as our school motto.

Our school focus is on innovation and how we can prepare our students for tomorrow. We amalgamate a literacy and design thinking focus with the intention of giving students the skills and knowledge needed to be capable, creative, thoughtful citizens.

Kids Go Global - Explore, Act, Inspire.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
