Capitol Hill School

Capitol Hill is a place that inspires, engages and embraces children’s passions and interests. With that in mind, the school has decided to engage in social justice and asked, "How can we be a force for good in the global village?"

Capitol Hill, with the aid of the Trickster residency, will focus on global warming, pollution and fair wages in the developing world. By arming the students will vital knowledge, they will be able to combat and stand up for what is right not only in the global community but next door as well. With the aid of staff and parents, the students will develop critical thinking skills and thus be able to see the world in a new light.

Kids Go Global - Explore, Act, Inspire.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
