Re-Thinking Plastic Water Bottles

We are educating our student and staff on the issues related to plastic water bottles.  Classes have been investigating many issues related to plastic water bottles from why we use them, harmful effects on our environment, what can they be recycled into, possible solutions to cut down on using single use bottles, etc.  The students are excited to find out more about these issues!

  • Full Project Summary

Our Middle School students are creating “Really” posters that will highlight how wasteful our North American society is in regards to water usage.

  • Project Outcome

The outcomes will be more awareness among our students and staff about plastic water bottles. They will in turn educate their families and friends after participating in these projects. An additional outcome will be a degreased use of water in household due to educating our students. These will impact our community directly.

  • How to create projects

Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.

New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.

  • What is Trickster Theatre

Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!

Fore more information, please visit the Trickster Theatre website.
