St. Catherine School classes will explore their own dreams for Canada and create a theatre piece revolving around those dreams. We hope this will allow students to expand their idea of what is possible in their new school, their community, and ultimately their country.
Performances will look at the future of animals in our area, the future of watersheds in our area, and the future of Canada’s influence on the world.
Project OutcomeIt is our hope that through our theme “Canada 150: Dreams of Canada”, that our students will explore and imagine the future they wish to see in Canada using two different creative approaches: artist workshops & performance, and the video essays. In turn we believe this will encourage ownership as young citizens and will also give them the confidence they need to pursue those changes in the world.

How to create projects
Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.
New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.
What is Trickster Theatre
Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!
