Emily Follensbee students, with their parents, will perform the ‘TOP 10’ activities that they can actively participate in throughout Canada.
Having Trickster Theatre in for the Canada 150 residency will allow our students celebrate the diversity within Canada, explore areas of Canada and fun activities they could be involved in, and give students the experience of being involved in a creative process that will unify our school community.
Full Project Summary
Emily Follensbee School is a special settings school for children aged 2 1⁄2 to 14 years of age with multiple, complex learning needs. The school is a TASC (Teaching Attitudes, Social skills, and Communication) based environment designed to provide intensive support and services for all students.
Project OutcomeOur students do not follow the Alberta curriculum therefore the entire program will be a new learning experience for us. It will allow for new sensory experiences and give students a new opportunity to use communication in a new way by creating an original show.

How to create projects
Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.
New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.
What is Trickster Theatre
