Connections Create Change

We’re created a show with Trickster Theatre. All the students and staff are involved.

We’re focused on how we can connect with the school we are supporting in Nairobi, Kenya. It is called The Mercy Children’s Centre. Our fundraising page will be coming soon.

Connections Create Change

We’re looking at connections and how they create change.

The school we are linking to is the Mercy Children’s Centre in Kawangware, Kenya.

The NGO that we are working with is One Child’s Village. They are based in Edmonton. The Mercy Children’s Centre

  • How to create projects

Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.

New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.

  • What is Trickster Theatre

Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!

Fore more information, please visit the Trickster Theatre website.

Kids Go Global - Explore, Act, Inspire.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
