Building Homes in Jamaica

We are helping to build a house in Jamaica!

Building Homes in Jamaica

0%100%

Each winter Millwoods Christian sends teams of students to build homes for impoverished families. Currently our teams build homes in Jamaica.

Housing is needed in many parts of Jamaica. Hurricane winds and storms can damage houses on this tropical island, often leaving people in need of shelter. We are helping to build homes in Jamaica, to give one more family a roof over their head.

  • How to create projects

Only a school site admin can set up new projects. Ask you teacher to get help in setting up a project page. Once set up you can write blog articles to support your project.

New Projects can be of many types: an event, a take action project, a study, or a Trickster Residency.

  • What is Trickster Theatre

Trickster Theatre hosts weeklong residencies in Alberta schools. We help create an original show with up to 500 actors - on any theme. We provide the lights, curtains, sounds, costumes, and more!

Kids Go Global - Explore, Act, Inspire.

Kids Go Global is a place for Elementary, Junior and Senior High schools to explore Global Issues and then work alone or with NGOs to take action locally and internationally. It also supports students acting out the issues using theatre and provides opportunities to share student work and projects. It is a partnership between schools, NGOs and Trickster Theatre.
